At Conrad-Electronic.co.uk we offer you the possibility to always check and correct your order before submitting it. Just go back to the shopping basket by pressing "view" top right of the site. Please see also stage 2 of the ordering process or press "my data" in the heading "my account" top of the site where you can check and correct all your personal details (available after you have entered your address data). The ordering process works as follows

Step 1:

Click next to the desired article on "Buy Now". Go to your shopping cart via the link ''Shopping Basket'', top right of the page.

Step 2:

In the shopping basket you will see which products you would like to order, you can also change the numbers of a product, add optional accessories or cash a coupon.

If there are accessories for a particular item present, they appear in the shopping basket. If you prefer that they not be shown then you can put a checkmark in the lower right corner of the basket.

You can add your Conrad voucher very easily in the basket, by filling in your voucher number ( 6 digit recognition with a 2-fold ) in an existing rule and press the ''Add'' button. You can redeem one voucher per order.

On the right at the bottom you will see the option to print the shopping basket.
If you wish to save the shopping list in the form of a memo list, then you can do that in the white field in the shopping basket. Please note: this feature is only available when you have a login. Your memo list will be saved for the next 90 days.

Under the subtotal, the shipping costs will be shown.

Step 3:

Click on the button "continue to Checkout" to continue with the ordering process. If you have not logged in yet, then you have the opportunity to register here.

Step 4:

You can now enter your preferred payment method.You can also change the delivery address or if you have moved you can change your address. Then click the button "submit order" and your order is placed. You will receive an order conformation by e-mail.

Note: when you have changed your address online, the old address will be shown on the order confirmation, this is caused by a delay in our system.
Of course your order will be shipped to the new address.

We recognise that security is one of the major concerns for you. We commit to using the highest security standards in order to protect your data from any unauthorised access.

When do we record and process personal data?
Your address is stored in our systems to ensure your orders are handled quickly and without error. Handling of the data you provide to us is in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and the Distance Selling Regulations. We do not send you additional information and advertising materials, or pass your address data to any unauthorised third parties outside of Conrad, without your explicit permission.

Do we store financial data?
No. Once your order has been placed and paid for by a credit or debit card this information is not accessible for us anymore. This is to provide maximum security for all our customers.

Do we use a secure transfer system for your data?
Your personal data as well as your payment data is transferred with a high level of protection (encrypted using SSL - Secure Socket Layer ). In order to minimise the amount of encrypted data sent, only the sensitive area (frame) is transmitted. However, with some browsers the relevant security indicators may not be displayed, even though the encryption is working correctly.

How can you change your order and your personal data?
You can always change your order by entering your shopping basket at the upper right corner of the page. Here you can add products, delete products, add an action code and so forth. You also have the possibility to change your address data when logging in. And if you want to, you can specify a different delivery address during the order process.

If you get an error when registering your details ( address and/or postcode ) and you cannot complete the order, please contact us using the contact form.

We also ask you to mention the article numbers and your preferred payment method so we van register you as a customer and process the order for you.

Once you have been through the checkout stage and finalised your order, our logistics starts with the picking process and we are unable to cancel the order.

If you do not require your order, you can refuse it on arrival. If you have already accepted the parcel, you can return it, please follow the returns procedure.

This will take around 3-4 weeks.

Packaging
Our aim is to use only packaging made of recyclable, environmentally friendly materials. All packaging materials that carries the Green Dot emblem can be recycled. If you do not wish to keep our cardboard shipping boxes for any other use, you can fold them up and send them back to us (at your cost). Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Conrad Electonic UK are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. You can return your waste batteries to our business premises in person (please do not post). Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com.
Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.

The estimated delivery time is 3-4 days.

Please note that this may be slightly longer for deliveries to Northern-Ireland, Shetland and Orkney, Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey), Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands, Western Highlands, and Scilly Islands. For these regions, delivery times vary between 5 - 15 working days.

If you want your order to be deliverd to another address, then you can choose for this option in the shopping basket ( Step 3, delivery ) and give in the new delivery address. See picture below. This will not be seen as a change of addresss, the orderaddress will remain the same.

- Standard service: delivered within 3 to 4 days by UPS (excluding weekends).
- 24 hour service: delivered next working day by UPS (order must be placed before 1pm).

Who Delivers?
Standard and Express service: UPS delivers orders on the standard (3 to 4 days) and 24 hour services (excluding weekends). Our courier partner delivers between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

Highlands and Islands
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Shetland and Orkney, Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey), Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands, Western Highlands, and Scilly Islands may take between 5 and 15 working days, depending upon which delivery service you have chosen.
