Disposal of old electrical equipment (according to ElektroG)
Waste electrical equipment contains both valuable resources that can be reused through recycling and pollutants that can cause major environmental problems if disposed of improperly. For this reason, consumers are legally obligated to properly dispose of waste electrical equipment.
All electrical and electronic equipment affected by this regulation must be marked with this symbol. It indicates that the respective device must not be disposed of in the household waste at the end of its service life, but at an authorized collection or return point.
As a distributor of electrical and electronic equipment, Conrad is legally obligated to take back old equipment free of charge in household quantities. This is not linked to the purchase of an electrical or electronic device and is independent of the "ElektroG categories".

We will take back your old electric appliances at the time of delivery provided that the old units are disconnected, defrosted, clean and ready for the driver.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis.
Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries.
Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities.
All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins.
Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
